work attitude/ 工作态度/ (ɡōnɡzuò tàidù)

A: Recently, I heard that people new to the workplace should have the attitude of a playboy.

(zuìjìn, wǒ tīnɡshuō zhíchǎnɡ xīnrén xūyào yǒu zhānán xīntài.)

B: I don't quite understand, can you explain?

(wǒ bùtài mínɡbái, zhè zěnme jiěshì ne?)

A: It means recommending a person at work always staying true to their potential, learning to be flexible and trying new things.

(yìsī shì jiànyì yīɡèrén zài ɡōnɡzuòzhōnɡ suíshísuídì bǎochí zìjǐ de kěnénɡxìnɡ, xuéhuì línɡhuó, duōqù zuò xīn de chánɡshì.)

B: How is that related to a playboy?

(nà zhèɡè hé zhānán yǒu shenme liánxì ne?)

A: Think of the image of a playboy, aren't they always dating and trying out different girls without making any promises?

(xiǎnɡxiǎnɡ zhā nán ɡěi rénde yìnxiànɡ, shìbùshì suíshí dōuzài hé bùtónɡ de nǚhái yuēhuì, dàn bù ɡěi chūchénɡ nuò, duìbā?)

B: I understand, but I don't agree with this type of idea. I at least feel that you should give the appropriate amount of energy and dedication to work. Too flexible sometime is not a good thing.

(wǒ mínɡbái le, dàn bùtài tónɡyì zhèzhǒnɡ ɡuānniàn, zhìshǎo wǒ juédé, zuò yīfèn ɡōnɡzuò jiù yīnɡɡāi ɡěi chū xiānɡyīnɡ de tóurù hé jiānchí.tài línɡhuó yě yǒu bìchǔ.)
