With spring approaching, a village in Southwest China's Sichuan Province has welcomed groups of visitors who came to admire the blossoms in its rape flower fields. Some have even brought their beloved mahjong tables to the site to enjoy a game or two while they take in the scene.

In the video posted by Pear Video on China's Twitter-like Sina Weibo, a white-topped shed is seen standing in a large rapeseed field full of yellow flowers. 

Under the shed, two mahjong tables were laid out, with groups of four people playing mahjong while laughing and chatting.

One player said he felt even "luckier" when playing mahjong in this flower field. 

"Feeling the harmony between man and nature makes me forget all my worries," said another.

"The flower field covers about 1,500 mu [100 hectares]," head of Bishan village in Chongzhou, Sichuan, explained. "Apart from playing in the field, people can also enjoy the local cuisine at our village households."
