A new exhibition that shows the lifetime academic achievements of the renowned Chinese architect and urban planner Wu Liangyong has opened in Beijing on Wednesday.

Born in 1922 in Nanjing, East China's Jiangsu Province, this year will be Wu's 99th birthday. As a much-respected professor at Tsinghua University who founded the Science of Human Settlements in China, the new exhibition is a celebration of both Wu's birthday as well as marking the 110th anniversary of one of China's most prestigious universities in Beijing. The professor was also the first to win the Award for Scientific and Technological Progress by the State Education Commission.

The exhibition is hosted by the Chinese Academy of Science, Chinese Academy of Engineering and Tsinghua University. It is now exhibiting at the first-floor exhibition hall of Tsinghua University Art Museum (TAM).

The exhibition is scheduled to end on May 9.
