The sudden appearance of a bear in the home may be a scary thing for most people, but for herders living in the vast pastoral area in Northwest China's Qinghai Province, it has almost become commonplace.

Footage from a video circulating online showing several brown bears going in and out of a small house recently amazed netizens. The video shows the bears in a very relaxed state. After one bear entered through the window, another bear guarded it, and another even danced in front of the camera.

A staff member of the local pastoral area said that they received a report from the resident in 2019 that a bear had entered the house. They then installed cameras in front of the house to record their visits. "In the beginning, they just came to forage. Later, they often came to visit, knowing the villagers won't hurt them," the staff member said.

Many netizens left comments under the video praising the bears' cuteness. One netizen wrote, "Do leave them a key. It's not convenient to get in through the window every time."
