Renowned Chinese dancer Tan Yuanyuan will dance together with young promising talents on the nights of June 4 and 5 at the Beijing Tianqiao Performing Arts Center.

"We have brought in young dancers to work on various forms and ideas, in the hopes of bringing audiences a remarkable experience," said Tan.

The Magical Night at the Museum, a new performance under her brand "Tan Yuanyuan and Friends," will feature all new and different dance choreography, Tan said, which excites her and her friends.

Set design will also play a major part.

"From the moment that audiences enter the theater, everything will make them feel that they are at a museum not a theater. a different experience created by the dancers," she said.

"As a dancer, dancing is my entire art life. I expect that more people will fall in love with dancing through the shows," she added.

Having worked with international masters such as George Balanchine, John Neumeier and Kenneth MacMillan, Tan said that she still wants to hold more exchanges between China and the West to allow "more Chinese to learn about the uniqueness and charm of ballet."
