On Saturday, more than 30 diplomats from 18 consulates in Shanghai, including those from Russia, Germany, Finland, Hungary, Mexico, Pakistan and Poland, gathered at East China Normal University to participate in a culture market that revive the tradition and culture of the Song Dynasty (960–1279). The diplomats were provided with the chance to make tea, taste Chinese dim sum, watch the shadow puppetry play, make paper, try on the Hanfu and block printing, all in Song Dynasty style.
