All 8 miners survived in NE China after gas rush

All eight miners who went missing after a Saturday coal mine accident in Jixi, Northeast China's Heilongjiang Province,  were all found to be alive on Sunday.

The miners are being lifted out of the mine, the Xinhua News Agency reported. The eight were all working in the mining area when the gas rush took place at Saturday noon. 

Rescue work is ongoing at another coal mine in Hebi, Central China's Henan Province. A gas rush at the mine on Friday afternoon killed  four people, leaving four still missing as of press time.
