Making reed handicrafts in Lebanon

Koura, one of six districts of the North Governorate in northern Lebanon, is famous for its handicrafts made from reeds.

For a long history, many local people collect the reeds, wash them and turn them into handicrafts including baskets, hats and mats, which are for sale.
