Southwest China's Sichuan Province has always been famous for its giant pandas. But their latest internet celebrity mascot is beyond people's expectations — a wild black bear.

This wild black bear, called "naive bear" by many netizens, recently appeared in the backyard of a villager's house in Guangyuan. A video showed the bear appearing in the backyard to get honey. Holding the jar, it quickly devoured the delicious meal.

But it didn't leave the scene after emptying the jar. The black bear then staggered up to an Ailanthus altissima tree, began to yawn and stretch, then fell asleep among its branches. In their comments, many netizens have described the bear as cute and naive.

The animal was quickly induced to leave the residential area. Local officials said the black bear came from a nature reserve and there has been no wild black bear in residential areas for a long time.

"It turns out that black bears can climb trees, and they can climb better than people," one netizen commented under the video. "When you encounter a black bear in the wild, remember not to climb trees."
