To celebrate the fruitful results of Chinese Olympic athletes and welcome them back home, North China's Tianjin Municipality arranged a gorgeous light show on Sunday evening, displaying the spectacular moments of Chinese athletes during the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games with the lights of thousands of drones.
From the hand heart gesture of Yang Qian as the 21-year-old shooter bagged the very first gold of the Olympics, weightlifter Li Fabin's unique one-legged signature "flamingo lift," the GOATs of men's table tennis delegation, to record-breaking "flying man" Su Bingtian…The drones formed dozens of images in the night sky that once more lit up the passion and pride of the Chinese people.
"Appreciation to the miracles Chinese athletes have made! Highest respect to every single one of them for their ardor, vitality and inspiration!" A Chinese netizen wrote on China's Twitter-like Sina Weibo. "Thanks for the enthusiasm Tokyo 2020 has given us this summer," said another one.
