A lively crab cart made of wood has recently caught the eyes of netizens on Chinese social media platforms for its high resemblance to crabs walking sideways. It is made by the clever hands of a carpenter grandpa and a father in East China's Fujian Province, who spent a week making the toy for his kid.

"My son loves to play with all kinds of toys that his grandpa made him, who is a senior carpenter," the father, surnamed Li, said.

It took about a week to finish the cart, during which time they have met some difficulties designing the movements of the "crab claws" that could both resemble that of the real creature and ensure a safe and steady journey.

In the video circulating on China's Twitter-like Sina Weibo, the kid is sitting in the crab cart with his grandpa tugging the cart with a thread. It seems both of them are enjoying the toy greatly. Netizens are both impressed by the ingenious workmanship and moved by the love of Li's family.
