A Chinese traffic officer has melted people's hearts after he was seen taking care of a kid left alone by his parents in an illegally parked car. The officer was trying to cool the kid down by fanning him using a handful of traffic tickets.

The scene was recorded in Dalian, Northeast China's Liaoning Province, where a car was pulled over to the side of the road with a child about the age of five or six alone sitting inside.

"The parents must have left the child alone for some errands. There is no air-conditioning," the video recorded by a man surnamed Zhao said. "We are all touched by the warm-hearted scene."
