An 85-year-old Chinese man, who gained fame for showing off a muscular chest on a catwalk in 2016, has once again attracted netizens' admiration recently by gaining a pilot's license through three months of study and practice.

The rookie pilot, Wang Deshun, not only broke the record for the oldest flight cadet in China, but also broke people's long preconceived stereotypes of "old people."

To pass the theoretical knowledge exam, Wang was the only boarding student at the flight school in Beijing suburbs. He passed the exam after 30 days of study.

After 50 days of practical drills, Wang took the final flight exam. With excellent performance, he completed all subjects for the pilot's license assessment and got his pilot license.

Wang has made many impressive breakthroughs for his age in the past several decades. At the age of 65, he learned to ride a horse; At 78, he learned to ride a motorcycle; At 79, he walked on the catwalk; At 80, he learned how to play disc; and at 85, he finally has his dream to fly a plane come true.
