A couple in Shenzhen, South China's Guangdong Province, on Saturday chose an innovative way to go to their wedding, that is, by subway, according to local media.

A footage captured by a passenger on the Subway Line One in Shenzhen shows a new couple in their wedding clothes, according to Shenzhen Special Zone News on Saturday.

In the video, the bride wearing a wedding dress and a veil is seen waiting for the groom who was walking around and giving out sweets to passengers.

The man who recorded the video told the media that he wanted to share the video online as it was environmentally friendly, convenient, and thought it would make other people happy. "It also has a sense of ritual."

Many netizens approved of the new couple's choice. "Many weddings nowadays are just like commercial events. I don't want to hire a wedding company for my wedding, so I am preparing it on my own," one netizen said.
