A girl in Guangzhou, South China's Guangdong Province, who died at 13, donated her organs under permission from her parents to seven other minors. The story has moved many people in China to tears.

Cui Ziyun, a 13-year-old student from Guangzhou No. 7 Middle School, was taken to hospital on September 1 after a sudden illness.

After several days of treatment, Cui's heart, liver, kidneys and other vital organs gradually returned to normal, but her brain was so badly damaged that there was no hope of recovery.

Cui's parents, who are both doctors, decided to donate Cui' organs after her death to save other lives.

Her organs helped at least seven children, five of whom were in life-threatening conditions, the media reported.
