A new exhibition in Beijing aims to showcase how China's ancient paper cut art form presents red and revolution themes. As part of the country's intangible culture heritage, the art of paper cutting is still widely used by many artists including Ye Songqing.

The exhibition covers various red topics and stories running through the history of recent 100 years, according to the curator Huang Zhen from Taoxichuan Museum of Central Academy of Fine Arts.

The exhibition is set to run until October 16.
