Beijing's Forbidden City Concert Hall (FCCH)  hosted a 12-hour long event featuring live performances, TV screenings and livestreams to celebrate the music of Mozart on Sunday.

According to the music hall, the event featuring conductor Li Biao, divas Zhang Liping and Gan Lulu and pianist Sheng Yuan aimed to mark the 265th anniversary of great composer's birth.

"Getting to know a great composer in just 12 hours is invaluable. I hope that in the future, we can introduce more classic musicians to people in this way," Li told media.

In order to reach a larger audience, the Forbidden City Concert Hall also livestreamed the entire event on its WeChat video account, Sina Weibo and other platforms.
