Call 4921, a new acrobatic show by produced by the Beijing Performance & Arts Group and the China National Acrobatic Troupe, is set to be staged at Beijing's Poly Theatre on January 10, China's second State Policemen's Day.

The story follows a father and son who have devoted their lives to police service. 4921 is the father's police ID number, which the son inherits after his father dies in the line of duty.

According to the Beijing Performance & Arts Group, the production team collected real stories of policemen in order to present both their heavy responsibilities and their ordinary daily lives. Traditional acrobatic tricks and skills have been incorporated to help capture the interest of audiences and create the right atmosphere for the story.
