The latest book by Li Binsheng, Chunming Cartoon, released in Beijing on Tuesday, according to its publisher Beijing Yanshan Press. Featuring 100 paintings about old Beijing folklore, the book shows readers the lifestyle of old Beijingers living in the 20th century including their clothing, food, housing and transportation.

According to the publisher, these paintings are vivid memories of life in old Beijing in the 20th century, a true record of Beijing's gradually diminishing or disappearing folk culture.

Additionally, the publisher is also hosting a month-long exhibition featuring Li's paintings at the Capital Library.
