China’s SOEs realize 18.5% yearly revenues increase in 2021: Finance Ministry

China's state-owned enterprises (SOEs) realized annual revenues of 75.55 trillion yuan ($11.95 trillion) in 2021, registering a year-on-year increase of 18.5 percent, according to data released by Chinese Finance Ministry on Wednesday.

The overall profit of Chinese SOEs reached 4.52 trillion yuan in 2021, representing an increase of more than 30 percent over last years' levels. The tax payable value hit 5.36 trillion yuan, recording a year-on-year increase of 16.6 percent.

The Finance Ministry noted that multiple profit-related indexes for Chinese SOEs maintained solid growth rates in 2021, and the nation's economy system recorded robust progress.
