A special exhibition at the National Art Museum of China is showcasing many of the excellent works in the museum's collection as well as video documentaries about China's renowned artists from the past few decades.

The Beauty in the New Era exhibition puts 300 artworks on display. Among these works are not only paintings and sculptures that present China's achievements in environmental protection, poverty alleviation and the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic, but also masterpieces from famous artists like Qi Baishi, Xu Beihong and Li Keran.

According to Wu Weishan, president of NAMOC, these fine art classics carry the wisdom and spiritual charm of the Chinese people while telling China's stories to the world, allowing visitors to get a better understanding about Chinese art and the Chinese spirit.

The exhibition is set to run until March 30.
