A Plus - Music tour event
 

This music event in Shenyang, Northeast China's Liaoning Province, is a music concert by emerging Chinese idol Toy Wang Yi. 

Born in 1993 in Changsha, Hunan Province, Wang is a versatile star who can dance, rap and sing. 

After releasing his well received single "Buffett," Wang embarked on his A Plus tour, the theme of which aims to encourage young fans to always be confident and optimistic in their lives. 

The event also features some other hot Chinese rappers such as Huang Xu, Young Jack, OBO3 and Subs Zhang Yicheng.

The Shenyang stop is the third one on Wang's national tour, which has taken him to Nanchang, Jiangxi Province. Wang is set to head to Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, after the Shenyang show.

The Carnival of Modernity - Art exhibition

This exhibition in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, is a solo show focusing on emerging Chinese photographer Ni Chul's (Ni Che) exploration of the concepts of "modernity" and "social history." 

The exhibition includes works such as Ni's giclée painting Red Block of Red Star Road, which depicts Chengdu buildings in black and white with the addition of bold red dots to give the banal city scene a surrealist touch.    

Born in 1998 in Nanchong, Sichuan Province, Ni creates works using a lot of blue and red geometric shapes against black and white photos. The artist has noted that he wants to change people's conceptions toward mundane everyday life scenes. 

The exhibition is being curated by emerging curator Moham Wang (Wang Zheng) and visual designer Zhao Ziqing.

Soar as the Bird Above the Mountain - Art exhibition 

This art exhibition in Changsha, Hunan Province, is a solo show by artist Sophia Li, an oil painting and watercolor artist born in Hunan. Her paintings often show tranquil yet bold colors and delicate brush strokes that depict people. 

Birds are the theme of this exhibition. The artist noted that birds are fearless and can fly freely, making them a symbol of freedom for her. 

Li's works focus on expressing people's inner emotions with the goal of showing people's mental state through ­two-dimensional pictures.
