On April 21, Luliang,Shanxi held a special meeting on the development of the liquor industry, and discussed the two major policies as the theme of "the Action Plan for the High-quality Development of Liquor Industry in Luliang City in 2022" and "Several Policies and Measures to support the high-quality development of liquor Industry."

In the 14th Five-Year Plan development goals for the liquor industry planned by Luliang, it is proposed that by 2025, the liquor production capacity of the city will reach 500,000 tons, andits output will reach 500,000 million liters, the output value will exceed 50 billion yuan, and the tourists will reach five million visits in Xinghua village liquor culture tourism integration development demonstration zone.

"As one of the five strategic emerging industries in Luliang, liquor industry is an important starting point for the high-quality development of Luliang, and also a key support to promote the healthy and stable development of the city's industrial economy." This also means that liquor industry is not a traditional industry in Luliang, but in the "strategic emerging" industry, and will have greater development and promotion space.

The international liquor production area means that Luliang not only has a leading advantage in the liquor industry camp, but also begins to coordinate in leading, supporting industries, enterprise clusters and government implementation plans.

For example, in terms of industrial supporting facilities, Luliang has already built a 200,000-acre high quality wine and sorghum planting base, built 800 million bottles of liquor, bottle caps and the outer box packaging production line, an annual production line of 350,000 tons of the distiller's grains protein feed, a brewing research institute covering an area of 50 acres, and a 10,000 acres liquor storage and logistics distribution center, amongst other investment projects.
