A new dance performance named Dancing into Spring will run at Beijing Tianqiao Performing Arts Center from September 15 to 17. The first full rehearsal was completed at the China National Opera and Dance Drama Theater on Monday.

During the 90-minute rehearsal, dancers combined diverse moves such as jete to prepare for the show.

The costumes for the new performance made their first appearance in the rehearsal. The costumes' design is based on traditional Chinese clothing.

The show will combine music, dance, poetry and other artistic elements, demonstrating both classical Chinese dance and its ever-changing forms.

The performance will have seven chapters, showcasing classic dance dramas for audiences.

Dancing into Spring will be presented on the stage for three consecutive days.
