An art exhibition called Li Li - Vivid Rythem kicked off recently in Beijing to introduce traditional Chinese landscape painter Li Li's new book A Collection of Li Li's Paintings.

The exhibition shows more than 30 paintings created by Li. The special art occasion also doubles as a book launch event for Li Li's new work, which was published by the Rong Bao Zhai Publishing House.

Li Li's new book is an art catalogue of 56 paintings featuring a range of different styles that he created in recent years.

The art event is being held at the Rong Bao Zhai Art Gallery, a historic traditional Chinese art shop in Beijing that dates back more than 300 years.

As a traditional Chinese painting veteran, Li Li is known for his use of ink splash art. Such a technique often appears as freely rendered color patterns with strong visual tension. Many of his artworks are gorgeous and bold in their use of colors such as red, white, gold and silver.

Before his new 2022 art solo show in Beijing, for nearly 30 years the artist has been devoted to exploring the relationship between brush strokes, color rendering and water-paper dynamics to further improve his artistic style.

The event is organized by the Exhibition Department of the Rong Bao Zhai Art Gallery, the Rong Bao Zhai Publishing House and Yarong (Beijing) Cultures &Art Development Co., Ltd.
