Air China starts new journey with debut at Zhuhai Airshow

With the grand opening of the 14th China International Aviation and Aerospace Exhibition on Tuesday, Air China Ltd made a wonderful debut with family members and a number of new products at the exhibition, showing Air China's confidence and determination to continue improving its core competitiveness despite difficulties.

Air China has actively served the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and facilitated regional connectivity in recent years, while expanding flying capacity and flight schedules.

Currently, the routes departing from Zhuhai in South China's Guangdong Province connect with Beijing, Chengdu, Chongqing, Shanghai and Wuhan.

In the winter and spring season of 2022, Air China started a total of 105 routes in Guangzhou and Zhuhai, with more than 180 round-trip flights per day on average, providing more convenience for passengers.

Visitors to the exhibition can gain an in-depth understanding of Air China's upcoming new products through electronic display screens, new in-flight entertainment system simulation devices and physical exhibits. Along with the upcoming delivery of the new A350 aircraft, Air China's new business class seats and in-flight entertainment system will soon be available to the public.

The new business class seats have more than 10 exclusive designs for Air China, which will provide a more convenient experience with an upgraded in-flight entertainment system interface.

In December this year, Air China's "Phoenix Dance in the Clouds" series of cabin visual interior products will be launched, which will form a unique visual experience with oriental aesthetics.

In addition, Air China displayed a behind-the-scenes video of the "Safety Instructions" version of the drawing of Thousands of miles of rivers and mountains at the exhibition, giving visitors a sneak peek. The video adopts the technique of 3D animation, presenting a delicate picture of beautiful China. This version of the safety instructions will be launched in December.

Focusing on high-quality development, Air China has been actively promoting green development to serve the national dual-carbon strategy, while continuously promoting fuel-saving operations. Now it has realized the first domestic wide-body aircraft with domestic sustainable aviation fuel delivery. 

Air China has established a cultural laboratory to explore the development of cultural and creative products by using aircraft skins and seat fabrics.

Air China said it will accelerate the pace of building a world-class air transport industry group, and join hands with all parties for a beautiful new voyage.
