International forum held on art education in Belt and Road countries

An international forum on art education among countries along the route of the Belt and Road Initiative has been held in Lanzhou, Northwest China’s Gansu Province to promote exchanges and international cooperation on development of fine art education.

The forum, held at Northwest Normal University, invited many experts on art education from around the world to give online talks, discussing challenges and opportunites of art education at the present time and planning a future pattern for art education.

The forum consisted of diverse units focusing on different issues about art education such as the current situation of art education in countries along the Belt and Road, interschool cooperation on fine art and creative modes of art education.

Nearly 50 experts from 38 universities, institutes, art galleries, art associations, magazines and primary and secondary schools from 10 countries including the US, South Korea, Australia, the UK, Russia and Malaysia participated in the forum.

The forum lasted for two days and ended on Monday.
