2.09 billion passenger trips forecasted for 2023 Chunyun in China, a y-o-y increase of 99.5%

The 2023 Chunyun is expected to reach 70.3% of the pre-epidemic level in 2019 as passenger volume increases following the optimized epidemic response: Ministry of Transport. About 2.09 billion passenger trips, up 99.5% from 2022 level, will be made. Chunyun starts on Saturday.
