With the appearance and popularity of smart television sets in the market, it is becoming more common to own such a smart TV for each family. But the fact that viewers must pay monthly fees to unlock most of the TV programs is making smart TVs a decoration rather than an actual family facility. Its "stacking dolls-style membership," meaning one needs to purchase a series of memberships in order to watch a TV program, is making such a simple activity become complicated more than ever.

With the increasing copyright protection awareness, it is a good thing that most users are willing to pay to watch a film or a TV series. However, TV sellers seem like that they have ignored the customers experience and become blinded by moneymaking.

Recently, a well-received domestic animation Zhongguo Qitan, or Yao-Chinese Folktales, that reflects society was bombarded by a parent on social media for its horrific images and content, caused heated discussions.

Still, it is a burden off that it is only a single case supported by a small group of parents, as it would be a great loss for Chinese animation industry if the content is cut due to the similar complaints. Who says that an animation must be targeted as children when it is a form of artistic expression, and it doesn't equal juvenile and childish. The animation itself also belongs to the grown-ups.

As brand ambassadors, celebrities should put reputation, credibility and morality in front of benefits.

According to the recent regulation introduced by China's State Administration of Market Regulation, the punishment toward celebrities conducting activities as spokespersons and ambassadors for illegal brands must target the celebrities themselves rather than their agencies.

Celebrities with stains on social credit will receive restrains, where the illegal branding activities with celebrities involved will be curbed. However, it is more necessary for them and even the entire entertainment and advertising industries to put social responsibility ahead of interests.
