"According to the survey carried out by our team, 80 percent of college students plan to have two children ideally, and a few people want to have three. Only 4 percent of them don't want to have any kids," Li Ting, a professor from the Renmin University of China, said.

Although the young people represented by college students have a desire to have children, the reality of low fertility rate cannot be ignored.

Supporting policies related to the improvement of fertility are gradually entering the public life. A series of policies such as providing fertility subsidies, expanding the number of children aged 0-3 at kindergartens, implementing tax relief for infant care, and day care support are constantly promoting the fertility rate.

As this is the first Spring Festival after China eased restrictions on visits to public venues and travel, Zhang said he is looking forward to seeing a substantial rise in the Chinese box office during the Spring Festival holiday period.

The Chinese movie industry has been gradually on the rise. Many highly anticipated movies are expected to hit theaters during the upcoming holiday. A radical takeoff for Chinese movies is sure to be seen in the future.

Why are young people no longer fans of mass texting of Chinese New Year greetings? At this time of year, people always receive tons of greetings. They used to feel that it was good that others cared about them when they received these messages. However, in recent years, people have become more and more indifferent to sending or receiving them, and no longer take them seriously. The reason is that most greetings are alike and so young people don't feel the sincerity and consideration of the senders when they receive mass texts.
