Recently, Argentine Ambassador to China Sabino Vaca Narvaja was once again invited to attend a series of activities organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on China "Green SPIC, Greets the World," focusing on clean energy in Northwest China's Qinghai Province.

During his visit to Qinghai, the ambassador shared his experience in the development of clean energy in Argentina and revealed the country's 20 new-energy projects that will be financed by the Chinese side under the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) cooperation plan between China and Argentina. In early June, during Argentine Economy Minister Sergio Massa's visit to China, representatives from the Chinese and Argentine governments in Beijing signed a cooperation plan to promote the BRI. The ambassador's visit to Qinghai is also part of the cooperation plan.

Ambassador Narvaja said that Argentina and China are engaged in wide-ranging cooperation in the clean energy sector. For example, Argentina signed a comprehensive strategic agreement with the China State Power Investment Group to promote comprehensive cooperation in clean energy, covering areas such as solar, wind, green hydrogen production, and the development of nuclear energy.

In July, several Argentine clean energy companies will participate in the Trade and Investment Fair in Qinghai Province to increase cooperation between the two sides in the clean energy sector based on the existing cooperation between the two countries. In the future, the Argentine Embassy in China will promote the relationship between Argentina's northern province cities and Qinghai Province.
