A commemorative event was held at Shanghai Songhu Memorial Hall for the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression in Shanghai Sunday. August 13 marks the 86th anniversary of Battle of Songhu, also known as Battle of Shanghai. Local residents paid tribute and placed flowers to commemorate those who died in the combat against Japanese invaders.
