The Ma Yansong: Landscapes in Motion exhibition is underway in Shenzhen, South China's Guangdong Province. Featuring 52 important projects from the past two decades, the exhibition is the most comprehensive exhibition held by MAD Architects.

Led by Ma and his partners, MAD Architects is known for its signature buildings and public spaces that respond to the spiritual and emotional needs of people in high-density cities. MAD strives to imagine the future of urban civilization, engage with the cities, history, and nature, and show a spirituality that transcends time and space.

The exhibition includes some of MAD Architects' most iconic works, such as the Shenzhen Bay Culture Plaza, Harbin Opera House and the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art in Los Angeles. The exhibition also reveals, for the first time, some of MAD Architects' unpublished architectural projects.

The exhibition is divided into four sections: Dialogue, Process, Feeling is Real, and Fantasy.
It presents a panoramic and realistic view of the studio's architectural and artistic design, as well as its urban planning vision from its inception to the present.

To help visitors understand how the buildings around them are transformed from paper to reality, the exhibition also discloses some exclusive materials that have never been shown before, including the design concept, conceptual design, detailed design, and construction process of several projects.

The exhibition will run until December 17.
