The 2023 Dongguan-Latin American (LATAM) economic, trade, and cultural cooperation and exchange festival kicked off on December 10 in Dongguan, South China's Guangdong Province, aimed at cementing the bond of cultural exchanges and economic collaboration between the two sides. 

The two-day grand festival, which included two sections, not only featured a series of distinctive products from Latin American countries such as coffee, wine, beef, and cherries, but also coincided with the hosting of the economic and trade forum to provide a platform of business negotiation and cultural exchanges for the two sides. 

Coffee and alpaca dolls from Peru were some of the highlights at the festival, while visitors interacted with real alpacas. "We hoped to promote the export of cereals of Andean origin, such as quinoa, kiwifruit, and amaranth seeds, and coffee with the advantage of this exchange platform," a diplomat from the Consulate General of Peru in Guangzhou said at the festival.
