Study rooms are timeless for Chinese intellectuals, where they can read and study. A new exhibition which follows the timeline of “Time Study” kicked off on Saturday at the Beijing Books Building.

Through the nine study rooms, the exhibition attempts to connect the outstanding figures in Chinese history through their study rooms.

The nine themed study rooms include the study room of Wang Yangming, one of China's great philosophers, the study room of Liang Qichao, one of the well-known Chinese scholars and a study room with the theme of A Dream of Red Mansions, one of China’s four great classics.

The exhibition is set to run until early March.
