The power line upgrade project led by State Grid Nanjing Power Supply Company along Zhongshanmen Avenue in Nanjing, capital of East China's Jiangsu Province, has entered the final stage, with completion expected within a month.

This endeavor plays a vital role in the area's comprehensive environmental improvement initiatives, aiming to significantly elevate the reliability and capacity of power supply while enhancing the aesthetics of key scenic spots and urban main roads.

Zhongshanmen Avenue serves as a vital axial roadway in Nanjing. Since 2018, the State Grid Nanjing Power Supply Company has undertaken distribution line upgrades along the avenue. As of now, around 6.5 kilometers of overhead lines, over 100 poles and towers, and 14 pole-mounted transformers have been dismantled. Additionally, 9.1 kilometers of cable channels and over 70 medium and low-voltage power equipment have been built.

The Grid Nanjing Power Supply Company has also established a specialized task force to conduct multiple on-site surveys and negotiate construction details with the government and subway authorities, formulating more than 10 versions of construction drawings. Throughout the construction process, the company strived to minimize disruptions to nearby residents by working at night and avoiding power interruptions.
