The Embassy of Singapore in China, in collaboration with the Beijing Municipal People's Government, hosted the Beijing-Singapore Friendly Exchange Reception at the National Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA) in Beijing on April 5.

The event served as a significant milestone, commemorating the first anniversary of the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MOU) between Singapore and Beijing to enhance cooperation and cultural exchanges.

Dignitaries and guests in attendance witnessed a momentous occasion as the Singapore Chinese Orchestra (SCO) and the NCPA signed a strategic cooperation memorandum.

This agreement signifies a commitment to fostering greater collaboration and cultural exchanges between the two entities.

The signing ceremony took place against the backdrop of the growing importance of China and Singapore as key tourist destinations and mutual tourist sources.

The implementation of visa-free travel between the two countries has further facilitated bilateral cultural exchanges.
