UK: Official of British Consulate General Wuhan visits Henan Province

Arvind Norris, Trade and Investment Consul General of the British Consulate General Wuhan, and his delegation visited Zhengzhou, Central China's Henan Province, from January 13 to 15. The business trip aimed to promote friendly exchanges and practical cooperation between Henan Province and the United Kingdom in culture and art. 

During the tour, Norris visited Culture and Tourism Department of Henan Province, the Department of Commerce of Henan Province, the Foreign Affairs Office of Zhengzhou Municipal People's Government and companies in the tourism and publishing sectors, and held talks with their leaders. 

On January 15, the British Consul Generalate Wuhan held discussions with key bureaus and the five districts of Zhengzhou. More than 40 delegates from 20 organizations in the cultural, tourism, economic and trade sectors participated in the meetings to explore opportunities of exchanges and cooperation with the UK. The delegation also visited the Henan Art Museum, Zhengzhou Theater and the Zhengzhou Memory: Oil Chemical Factory Creative Park. Norris said that this is his sixth visit to the province. He said being impressed by Henan's profound cultural heritage as the birthplace of Chinese civilization, as well as the province's advancements in transportation and vigorous economic development.
