An aerial photo shows a Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (MSDF) helicopter salvaged from the seabed in the waters east of Torishima Island on March 12, 2025. Two SH60K patrol helicopters of the MSDF collided and crashed during nighttime training in April 2024. The main parts of the two helicopters sank to the ocean floor at a depth of about 5,500 meters.
