On March 24, on the eve of the 112th National Sugar and Wine Fair in 2025 (referred to as the Spring Sugar), Yili Group held the "Perceptible High-Quality Exploration Conference" in Chengdu, Southwest China's Sichuan Province. Journalists visited Yili's largest dairy product production base in Southwest China—the Qionglai factory—to witness the birth of liquid milk, yogurt, cold drinks, and other dairy products up close and experience new products.
As consumption upgrades and consumer health awareness increases, the public has higher demands for the quality, safety, and transparency of dairy products. At the Qionglai factory, journalists witnessed the pursuit of quality and continuous exploration of innovation from "one blade of grass to a cup of milk." The filling workshop for liquid milk has a very high cleanliness level; cold drinks are produced on an automated production line, and a delicious ice cream requires 13 different process steps to be created, with various novel and interesting cold-drink products being born here; the yogurt category is also rich and diverse, including large fruit pieces, Light & Free, compound fruit pieces, cup acid, and barrel acid, among others.
For years, Yili has always adhered to the corporate motto of "Yili is Quality, Treating Quality as Life," safeguarding the safety and nutrition of every drop of milk from the source to the product. In the future, Yili Group will fully open its quality traceability factories nationwide, allowing consumers to visit Yili factories nearby and experience the production process of the entire dairy industry chain from "one blade of grass to a cup of milk" up close, making quality "visible."
It is reported that by the end of 2024, Yili's industrial tourism projects, carried out through 34 production bases nationwide, have cumulatively received over 310 million visitors. Over the years of development, Yili has derived cultural and creative products, customized study-abroad courses, and exclusive dairy food delicacies, among other rich and colorful cultural and tourism products, which have been well received.
In June 2023, the Yili Health Valley, as a 4.0 model project for Yili's industrial tourism, officially debuted. The scenic area provides immersive "digital intelligence" experiences for visitors through interactive technological means such as AI, BIM, VR, XR, and naked-eye 3D. By 2025, the Yili Health Valley will expand nationwide, focusing on deepening channel cooperation in North China, Northeast China, East China, and Northwest China, further enhancing the brand's influence.
It is reported that the future of Yili Group's 34 industrial tourism factories nationwide will usher in a new chapter, continuously relying on modern production factories and farms, gathering science education, leisure and entertainment, sightseeing interaction, study-abroad tourism, and other featured projects, creating an upgraded version of Yili's industrial tourism that integrates internationalization, fashion, and technology. This will promote the deep integration of industry and cultural tourism, opening a new chapter in the dairy industry's traceability quality journey.
