China's Ministry of Culture and Tourism on Wednesday issued a risk alert for Chinese tourists traveling to the US on its official website, citing the recent deterioration in China-US economic and trade relations as well as the domestic security situation in the US. 

The ministry urged Chinese travelers to carefully assess the risks and exercise caution when planning trips to the US.
