An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.2 jolted 21 km SE of Marmara Ereglisi, Türkiye at 12:49 p.m. local time (0949 GMT) on Wednesday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 10 km, was initially determined to be at 40.84 degrees north latitude and 28.14 degrees east longitude.
