Speaking at a press briefing in Islamabad, Pakistan's Defense Minister Khawaja Asif said, "Pakistan does not seek war. Our forces are prepared, but we are equally prepared to exercise restraint — conditional on India ceasing its current military campaign. If India stops, so will we," according to CNBC TV18.

The Defence Minister has announced that the country's military is "ready to refrain" from further action, provided India halts its ongoing operations, per CNBC TV18. The statement comes amid heightened tensions following India's air strikes on Pakistan on night of Tuesday to Wednesday, the report said.
