For one hundred years, Turri has upheld an idea of excellence based on craftsmanship, quality, and innovation. A century of history rooted in Italian manufacturing tradition and the continuous search for new forms of elegance. Since 1925, the ability to interpret luxury through design and bespoke craftsmanship has made the brand a reference point in the international furniture scene.
A century marked by successes, stylistic evolutions, challenges, and a constant commitment to excellence.
1925 marks the year when Pietro Turri founded his workshop in Carugo: wood became the protagonist, crafted with mastery to create unique furniture, symbols of quality and refinement. In this virtuous context, the company grew, solidifying its position over time thanks to its ability to interpret both traditional craftsmanship and technological innovation.
Alongside him, over time, a whole family of artisans: Pietro's five children joined the company, carrying on the passion for the craft and transforming the business from a local reality into an expanding enterprise. The first pieces of furniture made for local families showed how the quality of craftsmanship quickly attracted the attention of a broader audience, fueling new ambitions. The dream of reaching Milan, the city of opportunities, began to take shape.
Over time, the company grew, passing through different eras and transformations under the guidance of subsequent generations, which strengthened its position. In the early years of the business, the Turri brothers laid the foundation for a production identity based on absolute quality, distinguishing themselves through precision in construction, excellence in materials, perfection of mechanisms, and meticulous attention to finishes.
In the 1950s, Turri began an important phase of industrial growth with the opening of a store in Milan and the relocation of production to the Briosco plant, a key milestone in the company's development. It was a period of change: traditional techniques were refined with innovations like polishing and lacquering, while the style adapted to the tastes of an increasingly international clientele. Participation in the first edition of the Salone del Mobile in 1961 confirmed Turri's role in the Italian design scene.
Embracing the stylistic influences of contemporary design without ever losing its bespoke identity, over time, the company expanded its offerings by introducing new collections and materials.
From the 1980s onwards, the company accelerated its international expansion, establishing a strong presence in European and Middle Eastern markets. Exports grew rapidly, allowing Turri to distinguish itself by reinterpreting luxury through a sophisticated aesthetic.
Expansion reached a turning point between the 1990s and 2000s with entry into the Chinese market, which led to significant growth and an even stronger global presence, opening up new opportunities. The brand became an ambassador of Made in Italy, meeting the growing demand for high-end furniture for exclusive residences and contract projects. During these years, the style enriched itself with decorative elements, precious materials, gilded details, elaborate inlays, and sinuous forms.

In 2007, with Andrea Turri taking the helm of the company, a new phase of stylistic evolution took shape. Introducing a vision that merges historical heritage with innovation, Andrea Turri led the brand to distinguish itself through a maximalist language, characterized by refined decorative details. Over time, the style gradually shifted toward a more modern, cosmopolitan aesthetic, maintaining the uniqueness of craftsmanship but with a more essential and balanced approach: this marked the entry into the Modern Luxury era. The concept of luxury lightened, making way for a design that combined elegance and functionality, without sacrificing quality or uniqueness.
Turri's evolution continued further in 2023 with its integration into the Dexelance Group. Joining Dexelance, the only listed Italian design group, combined with the company's century-long experience, represents another step forward, allowing Turri to expand its presence in global markets and respond more effectively to the needs of a clientele increasingly attentive to quality and customization.
After 100 years, Turri continues its journey of excellence with the same pioneering spirit as always, driven by the desire to tell the story of design as an expression of an authentic lifestyle. Its stylistic research is oriented toward more contemporary solutions, maintaining the excellence of production, and conveying through new collections and custom projects a high-level sartorial approach that envelops the spaces and homes of the world.
Today, the company develops its business through a structure with two distinct but interconnected areas. The first, Custom Project, offers fully bespoke solutions, projects with partial customizations integrating series elements and light contract solutions, ideal for ensuring flexibility and adaptability to different contexts. The second, Collection, presents a catalog of series products designed for both the retail and contract sectors.
This approach allows Turri to offer tailor-made solutions for private residences, hospitality, and special projects, always maintaining the craftsmanship excellence and attention to detail that distinguish the brand.
