Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi issued a warning to Pakistan on Monday, saying "The people of Pakistan must come forward to end terrorism. Live a happy and peaceful life and have your meal. Otherwise, my bullet is there for you." On the same day, Pakistani Prime Minister expressed willingness to talk to India to resolve disputes but said if India "chooses to remain aggressors, then we shall defend our territory."

"The people of Pakistan must come forward to end terrorism. Live a happy and peaceful life and have your meal. Otherwise, my bullet is there for you (sukh chain ki zindagi jio, roti khao. Varna meri goli to hai hee)," the Prime Minister said in a rally in Bhuj, Gujarat, the Hindu reported. The speech came weeks after the India-Pakistan conflict.

Earlier on Monday, Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed his willingness to talk with India to resolve ongoing disputes between the two countries, including the Kashmir issue and water security, during his visit to Iran, Pakistani media the Dawn reported.

"We are ready to talk, for the sake of peace on water issues with our neighbor," he continued. "We are ready to talk to promote trade and also, counter-terrorism if they're serious, the Dawn said.

"But if they choose to remain aggressors, then we shall defend our territory... like we have done a few days ago," he added. "But if they accept my offer of peace, then we will show that we really want peace, seriously and sincerely."
