据报道，美国总统特朗普4日签署公告，以维护国家安全的名义限制哈佛大学国际学生签证，暂停在哈佛大学学习或参加交流项目的外国公民入境。

According to media reports on Wednesday, US President Donald Trump signed a proclamation restricting foreign student visas at Harvard University in the name of safeguarding national security. The order suspends the entry of foreign nationals seeking to study or participate in exchange programs at Harvard.

对于上述消息，在6月5日举行的中国外交部例行记者会上，外交部发言人林剑在回应外媒记者“中方对此有何评论”的提问时表示，中美的教育合作是互利的，中方一贯反对将教育合作政治化，美方的有关做法只会损害美国的形象和国际信誉，中方将坚定维护海外中国学生和学者的正当合法权益。

When asked to comment on the news at the Chinese Foreign Ministry’s regular press conference on June 5, spokesperson Lin Jian stated that educational cooperation between China and the US is mutually beneficial. China has consistently opposed politicizing educational cooperation. Relevant actions by the US would only damage its own image and international credibility. China will resolutely safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of Chinese students and scholars abroad.
