The Chinese Embassy in Israel issued two safety alerts in row on Friday following the Israeli strikes against Iran, reminding that the Chinese nationals in Israel to strengthen safety precautions.

Israel attacked Iran's capital early Friday, with explosions booming across Tehran as Israel said it targeted nuclear and military sites, the AP News reported.

Citing Iranian state television, the AP News said the head of Iran's paramilitary Revolutionary Guard, General Hossein Salami, is feared dead after an Israeli attack, adding that one other top Guard official, as well as two nuclear scientists, were also feared dead. This information has not yet been officially confirmed.

Israeli has warned its citizens to take shelter "in the best way possible" in anticipation of an Iranian response to strikes launched early Friday, CNN reported.

In the early hours of June 13, Israel launched strikes on targets related to Iran, further escalating tensions in the Middle East. The Israeli government has since declared a state of emergency, closed its airspace, and suspended work and classes. The current security situation is complex and severe, the Chinese Embassy in Israel said in a post.

The embassy urgently reminds all Chinese nationals in the country to closely monitor developments, remain calm, stay vigilant, and be fully prepared for potential attacks involving missiles, rockets, or drones. Strengthen all personal safety precautions, avoid going out unless absolutely necessary, and strictly stay away from military facilities and sensitive sites, according to the post.

The post also reminds Chinese nationals to maintain open lines of communication and do not let your guard down. In case of emergency, please report to the local police and contact the Chinese Embassy in Israel for assistance.

In a second safety alert issued by the embassy on Friday afternoon, the embassy said Iran has announced retaliatory strikes against Israel, further worsening the already severe local security situation.

The embassy urgently reminds Chinese nationals in the country to closely monitor developments and take all alerts issued by local civil defense authorities seriously. Upon receiving mobile phone alerts, immediately move to the nearest shelter. When air raid sirens sound, enter a shelter promptly and take proper safety precautions—do not linger, observe, or attempt to film videos, as falling shrapnel could cause serious injury, the embassy said.
