At the 2025 SNEC exhibition in Shanghai, LONGi, a global leader in PV technology innovation, and TÜV Rheinland, an international independent third-party testing, inspection, and certification organization, signed a strategic cooperation agreement on June 12. This marks the beginning of a new chapter of high-quality collaboration between the two parties in the solar photovoltaic sector. The agreement was signed by Mr. Li Weichun, Vice President of Global Power Electronics Business Segment and Vice President of Solar & Commercial Products Greater China at TÜV Rheinland, and Mr. Dennis She, Vice President of LONGi.

Reshaping PV Industry Quality Benchmarks, Delivering Higher Value to the Market
This partnership will focus on areas including Back Contact (BC) photovoltaic cell and module standard development, product reliability research, and quality control during module mass production. Using high-quality BC products as an anchor point, the collaboration aims to establish new quality benchmarks for the entire PV industry and deliver higher lifecycle commercial value to global markets and customers. Since last year, LONGi's HPBC 2.0 module, Hi-MO 9, has undergone a series of complex and rigorous professional tests under TÜV Rheinland's evaluation criteria. Its outstanding power generation performance earned it TÜV Rheinland's "All Quality Matters Award" for both "Power Generation Simulation" and "Module Reliability." Additionally, TÜV Rheinland professionally certified the superior low-light performance of LONGi's BC products, with test results showing that the Spectral Response Rate of LONGi's HPBC 2.0 products significantly outperforms TOPCon products, leading by up to 44%.

A More Excellent Supply Chain Management System, More Reliable Quality Assurance
At the exhibition, TÜV Rheinland also awarded LONGi the "AA-Rated Certification for PV Supply Chain Traceability Management System." Subjected to strict assessment criteria, LONGi achieved the highest AA rating across all supply chain stages - polysilicon, ingot, wafer, and module - demonstrating exceptional supply chain management. This provides robust systemic assurance of the high-quality and high-efficiency performance of LONGi's BC products throughout their lifecycle. This honor reflects LONGi's core strengths cultivated over years: full industry chain synergy, digital empowerment, and continuous capability building.
Moving forward, the two parties will integrate their strengths for comprehensive cooperation in enhancing PV product reliability, researching, developing, and upgrading cutting-edge technologies, and formulating international standards. Together, they will empower and drive global sustainable development with higher-quality, higher-value solutions.
