China's Vice Minister of Finance Liao Min met with a delegation from the American Chamber of Commerce in China (AmCham China) in Beijing on June 18, holding in-depth discussions on China-US economic and trade relations, China's opening-up measures, and the operations of US businesses in the country, according to an official release from the Ministry of Finance on Monday.

Liao briefed the delegation on China-US economic and trade consultations, stressing that the US should work with China to jointly implement the outcomes of their agreed consensus and promote the stable and long-term development of bilateral economic and trade ties. Liao also addressed specific concerns raised by the companies.

US businesses expressed optimism about China's economic growth prospects and voiced their willingness to actively participate in China's high-level opening-up process, contributing to the continued development of China-US economic and trade relations, the release said.
