Qatar's air defense systems responded to several missiles over the capital Doha on Monday, as Iran announced the launch of a military operation targeting US forces at Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar.

Iran's semi-official Tasnim news agency reported that Tehran had begun a missile campaign dubbed the "Annunciation of Victory," targeting US bases in both Iraq and Qatar.
